An investment
committee meeting is held to review the final proposal.This meeting is
attended by the management team of the investee company and the lead
business angel investor.
Legals and completion.
Cost
LSC will charge an arrangement fee of between 2% and 6% plus VAT. 50% of this fee is payable on agreeing the terms of the investment and 50% on completion of this investment. The size of the arrangement fee will depend on whether the company has first presented to the LBA network (the fee being lower if it has). The company will also be required to pay for the legal costs incurred by LSC in completing the investment. LSC will also charge an ongoing monitoring and advisory fee each year while it is a shareholder.
